The New Beach Town

Last weekend Parker and I went to Seabrook (a “new” beach town on the Washington coast) with some pals. Seabrook is the kind of place that I dream of—sun shining, kids playing in the streets, happy hour on every porch and free cruiser bikes for everyone to use!!. We had a great weekend eating and playing cards and exploring the amazing beach. Here are a few pictures of the ladies weekend away.

+ Restaurant Round-up: Garett and I went on a date last night (Thanks Kel!) to the new Bastille in Ballard. The head chef is a married to a gal I went to high school with which is random since we grew up in CA. In any case, we had a great time. The food was yummy, the atmosphere was hopping (and it was only the 2nd night AND a Tuesday) and the back bar is a secret hideaway where we will be sure to return to. There were a few shortcomings (the fries were only medium, the waitress seemed frazzled and frightened) but I am sure they will work all the kinks out in the coming weeks. Oh, and the Peanut Butter Ice Cream (which deserves to be Capitalized) was Phenomenal with a capital P. Check it out.
